If you're hungry and looking for good quality food prepared fresh and looking for value then the Gourmet Bakehouse at West Gosford is the place to go for sure. The pies are made fresh daily and are Big and Chunky and full of flavour and chunks of real meat! This place is a favourite for local tradies and other local workers and visitors to the Central Coast. This is a local family business that has been on the Coast for many years and they have a loyal following and an established reputation for quality and excellence of service. Highly recommended.

Gourmet bakehouse is the bakery of all bakeries. Custard tart was impossible to fault, good jiggle, great custard ratio and a buttery flakey crust. Pepper and steak pie was another hit, full of chunky steak and a great pepper flavour. Coffees are also great, and the bundaburg lemon lime bitters were icy cold. 10/10

Despite the name, this is no posh foodie joint. Rather it is an honest pie shop with superb meat pies that deserve the gourmet title. Had a curry pie yesterday (and have visited several times over the years for the curry pie) and it was soooo good. Bought an extra two to take home for dinner. Was there around 10.30 am, early enough to beat the hordes of tradies that buy out the shop. The coffee is equally excellent. YUM.

It's all about the pie. We are from New Zealand and pies are a way of life. We've been searching for 7months for a good pie and this place delivered. Soft slow cooked beef with a delicious gravy and perfect pastry. Good amount of pepper. $6

Absolutely the best little bakery on the coast The schnitzel Caesar burger for $11.50 blows other competitors double the price completely out of the water Staff are simply delightful A fantastic little local business that deserves a queue around the block

The steak pie was great. Nice gravy and good chunks of tender beef. It was too big to finish! Staff were super nice.

Haven't been here for a while, stopped in today for a plain chunky pie and a sausage roll - both were very tasty and with polite, friendly service. Zero atmosphere as on a main road, can't fault them for that. The cranky lady previously running the show seems to have moved on which is good.
